About Our Club

Welcome to the website of the Stampede Whirlaways Square and Round Dance Club in Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada.

                 

We are a happy Square Dance Club and we dance Phase II rounds.  We meet once a week to dance from September to April. 


Our square dance caller for over 45 years has been Nick Turner and his wife, Mary Anne, has cued round dances for us for over 31 years.


At various times of the year we hold sessions for New Dancers and we are very happy to spread our joy of dancing to them.


We welcome singles, couples and families and especially enjoy having visitors from other clubs.


We are located in Region 5 and are members of  the BC Square & Round Dance Federation and the Canadian Square and Round Dance Society
